guten tag!!

who knew that my hotel here in luzern would have FREE internet access!? gotta love best western when overseas. anyway, thought i would take a minute to write a note to my favorite lj buddies EVAR! sue wanted to go off and do her own thing (more on that when i get home and have a chance to make a proper post), so michelle and i are back here at the hotel for a bit before we head out and do some more shopping. i am ITCHING to buy a Tag Heuer watch. ITCHING. The way the exchange is, it would actually be a bit cheaper for me to buy one here... but given that i spent $1k on training, $1600 on a ticket to sicily, i won't be buying myself jack squat for awhile! i'll just have to come back here again. :)

it's been quite the adventure here... amazing countrysides, lakes, the alps... i could do without some of the temper tantrums and hissyfits along the way, but that's why bringing my ipod was the best idea ever, right?

i'm scared to bring back a lot of this chocolate i keep eyeing. seriously. it wants to jump in my mouth. and i'm willing to let it.

one thing that has surprised me about this place is that it is so freaking dog friendly. everyone here is out walking their dogs... OFFLEASH (something i only dream of with my dogs). It's great to see it, but i miss my babies more and more. only tonight and tomorrow here, then in the afternoon probably we will head back to zürich to spend the night. flight leaves around noonish i think and i will be home by 19:00 on friday.

i have some FABULOUS photos to share when i get home... especially the one of me taking a picture of my reflection in the window of the piz gloria at the very tippy top of the Schilthorn. I'm a dork. you know this. :)

hi there. made it to switzerland in one piece. actually... arrived to zurich in first class which was amazing. but anyway... i just wanted to let you all know i am here and having a great time. zermatt was spectacular... now we are in interlaken and heading to lucerne tomorrow afternoon/evening. then back to zurich friday morning to head back home.
